NOMCOM Wants YOU!!

Come talk to the Nominating Committee (NOMCOM) in September and give them your input on club direction and leaders for 2009. Interviews are scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of the first two weeks of September. They will extend them to the third and forth weeks if they need the slots to satisfy the signup demand. For a look at NOMCOM plans, click on the "New Report" from Nominating Committee to the left, or go to the Members Only section. To sign up for an interview, go to http://www.systematicsolutns.com/eyc/nomcomm2008/index.asp. The NOMCOM NEEDS YOU to tell them what to do! This includes Spouses, Associates and Emeritus members. What's obvious to you may not be obvious to them – tell them about it.

The annual (and much beloved) EYC Crab Feast is coming up soon, on Saturday, September 20, starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are $40 and include all-you-can-eat local crabs, corn on the cob, watermelon, etc. The crabs are the freshest local specimens, procured from the same great Eastporterican source as last year's fat and tasty examples. This event typically sells out, and sells out fast, so please call the office, 410-267-9549, to make your reservations now and avoid disappointment. This is a goodie not to be missed!
